Terms & Conditions

These terms set out the agreement between Ananda Learning and each person who enquires about or enrols in one of our financial education programmes. Please read them carefully before submitting an enrolment.

1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Ananda Learning ("we", "us") and each learner ("you") who enrols in or enquires about our courses. By submitting an enrolment, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms and agree to be bound by them.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly between the parties will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.

2. Our Courses

We currently offer three programmes:

  • Household Finance Orientation for Forty-Plus — six weeks, āļŋ7,200 THB
  • Investment Review for the Second Half of Career — ten weeks, āļŋ21,100 THB
  • Estate Planning and Family Stewardship Academy — fourteen weeks, āļŋ37,300 THB

Full descriptions of each programme, including session structure, included materials, and cohort sizes, are available on our Solutions page. We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to session content, scheduling, or delivery format when circumstances require it. We will communicate any significant changes to enrolled learners promptly.

3. Eligibility

Our programmes are designed for adults aged 40 and above. Enrolment is open to residents and non-residents of Thailand. We welcome learners of all professional backgrounds. Some programmes have small cohort limits — current availability is shown at the time of enquiry.

We do not accept enrolments from individuals under the age of 18.

4. Enrolment Process

To enquire about a programme, you may contact us via the form on our website, by email to [email protected], or by telephone at +66 2 847 2635. Following your enquiry, a member of our team will be in touch to discuss your interests and answer any questions.

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment (or an agreed deposit where applicable) and written confirmation from Ananda Learning. A place on any programme is reserved only once confirmed in writing.

5. Fees and Payment

Course fees are quoted in Thai Baht (THB) inclusive of all programme materials, individual consultations included in the course design, and any in-person retreat components specified in the programme description.

Fees do not include travel, accommodation, or personal expenses for in-person events unless otherwise stated in writing.

Payment is accepted by bank transfer to the Ananda Learning account details provided at the time of confirmation. Payment instructions are included in the enrolment confirmation letter. We do not accept cash payments by post.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation by the Learner

If you need to withdraw from a programme before it begins, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. The following applies:

  • Cancellations received more than 28 days before the programme start date — full refund of fees paid
  • Cancellations received between 14 and 28 days before the start date — 50% refund of fees paid
  • Cancellations received fewer than 14 days before the start date — no refund, though a credit toward a future programme may be offered at our discretion

If you need to withdraw after a programme has begun, we will consider a partial credit toward a future enrolment on a case-by-case basis. Please speak with us directly if your circumstances change.

Cancellation by Ananda Learning

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a programme if minimum enrolment numbers are not reached, or in circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If we cancel a programme before it begins, you will receive a full refund of all fees paid. If we are unable to complete a programme already in progress due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a proportional credit or refund.

7. Conduct and Participation

We ask all learners to engage with one another and with instructors respectfully. Our programmes are small and collaborative by design, and the quality of learning depends on the consideration each person brings to discussions.

We reserve the right to ask a learner to withdraw if their conduct causes harm or significant disruption to other participants or to the delivery of the programme. In such cases, a partial refund may be considered at our discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

All course materials — including printed guides, session notes, templates, and any digital resources we provide — remain the intellectual property of Ananda Learning. You may use these materials for your own personal study and planning. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share them with others without our prior written permission.

9. Educational Nature of Our Programmes

The programmes offered by Ananda Learning are educational in nature. They are designed to support informed personal decision-making and to develop financial knowledge and planning skills. They do not constitute personal financial advice, legal advice, or investment management services.

Instructors and advisors who participate in our programmes may hold relevant professional qualifications. Their participation in course discussions is educational and does not create a formal advisory relationship between the instructor and any individual learner.

We encourage learners to consult qualified professionals — including independent financial advisors, solicitors, and accountants — before making significant financial or legal decisions.

10. Limitation of Liability

Ananda Learning is not liable for any financial loss, investment outcomes, or legal consequences arising from decisions a learner makes following participation in our programmes. Our responsibility is to provide a well-structured educational experience. Decisions based on that education remain the learner's own.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or from your participation in a programme will not exceed the fees you paid for that programme.

11. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement. By enrolling, you acknowledge that we will process your personal information as described there.

12. Amendments

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your enrolment governs your programme. We will notify enrolled learners of any material changes before they take effect.

13. Contact
