"I had been receiving bank statements for fifteen years without really understanding half of what was on them. By week three of the Household Finance course I could read mine properly for the first time. That alone felt significant. The pace was comfortable β nothing felt rushed."
Wanchai Phongphan

"I came to the Investment Review course thinking I understood my portfolio fairly well. After the first individual consultation I realised there were three accounts I had never properly evaluated against my actual goals. Somchai was patient and specific β I left with a clear list of things to reconsider."

"The Estate Planning Academy was one of the most genuinely useful programmes I have attended in any field. Having a conversation with the estate attorney about my situation in Thailand β with one foot here and one foot overseas β was something I had been putting off for years. The programme created the right setting for it."

"I appreciated that the sessions were weekly rather than packed into a single weekend. It gave me time to look at my own documents between sessions and bring real questions. The printed materials are still on my desk three months later β I refer to them regularly."
Nattaporn Kasem

"My husband and I both enrolled in the Household Finance Orientation. Going through the material together and then being able to discuss our household situation with the same vocabulary was unexpectedly valuable. We had a private session together with Khun Pornpan, which was the most useful two hours of the whole course."
Pimchanok Thawee

"The section on rebalancing was particularly useful for me β I had been avoiding looking at certain positions for two years because I was not sure how to think about them. The Investment Review gave me a framework that felt manageable rather than overwhelming."

Case Studies
Three Learner Journeys
Case Study 01 β Household Finance Orientation
Starting Point
A retired school principal in her early fifties, living in Ko Samui on a combination of pension income and savings. She had no structured sense of where her money was going each month and had avoided looking at her provident fund paperwork for several years.
What Happened
Over six weeks, she mapped her household cashflow for the first time, read through her provident fund statements with the instructor, and identified an insurance policy she no longer needed. The private mentor session gave her language to raise questions with her bank.
What Changed
She established a modest monthly transfer to a savings account and cancelled the unnecessary insurance policy, redirecting the premium. More significantly, she described feeling less anxious about looking at her own financial documents β a shift she found more valuable than any single number.
Case Study 02 β Investment Review
Starting Point
A business owner in his late forties with holdings in three Thai brokerage accounts and a retirement fund held with a previous employer overseas. He had not reviewed any of these positions in two years and was unsure how they related to each other.
What Happened
The ten-week programme gave him a framework to inventory all positions and evaluate each against his actual timeline β which turned out to be shorter than he had assumed when making some earlier decisions. Three individual consultations with the instructor allowed specific positions to be examined in detail.
What Changed
He consolidated two of his three Thai brokerage accounts and initiated a rebalancing conversation with his overseas fund manager β something he had been postponing. He described gaining a clearer picture of what he actually held rather than what he assumed he held.
Case Study 03 β Estate Planning Academy
Starting Point
A couple in their late fifties with property in Thailand and assets held jointly in another country. They had spoken about preparing wills for years but found the cross-border aspect too complex to approach without guidance. Their adult children had no knowledge of their financial arrangements.
What Happened
Over fourteen weeks, including three retreats and individual meetings with the estate attorney, financial advisor, and family communication specialist, they prepared separate Thai wills, assigned executors, and held a facilitated family conversation that included their two adult children.
What Changed
Both wills were executed during the programme. The family conversation β which they described as the most meaningful event of the whole fourteen weeks β gave their children a clear picture of the family's financial position for the first time.
